• Limited, intermittent satellite bandwidth: any cloud-dependent service is unreliable while sailing.
• Onboard information (daily programme, excursions, port times) changes every day and in several languages.
• Content and pricing had to be governed from shore, consistently across every cabin.

• Onboard server architecture: the VOD catalogue, channels and information content live on the ship and run without internet.
• Content synchronisation when the ship is in port or when bandwidth allows, without interrupting the cabin service.
• Daily programme, excursions and port information published in several languages from the onboard back office.
• Cabin services (orders, requests, promotions) charged to the passenger account.
